Adele

"For many women, the ultimate insult is being called overweight. However, Grammy-nominated sensation Adele is not one of them--in fact, she says she's just fine with her shape and size. In response to a comment by fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld, who caused waves by outright calling the 23-year-old "fat" in an interview with Paris newspaper metro this week, Adele had this to say: "I've never wanted to look like models on the cover of magazines. I represent the majority of women, and I'm very proud of that." The quote appears in the February 20 issue of People, which hits newsstands on Friday."

YEAH GIRL!
Way to be real!

Even under all the pressure to look like your typical hollywood stick model Adele stays true and stands up for herself. Love her. :)

The Honeymoon

Best
vacation
EVER
I don't think any vacation from the past or my future will ever compare to the perfectness of Puerto Vallarta. I got to spend every single day, hour, minute, and second with my best friend/husband. Something that when you come back to "real life" of work and school you don't get to do. We decided to go with an all inclusive resort and it was the best idea ever. All you can eat Mexican, Italian, and yummy virgin strawberry daiquiri's. Let's just say any weight I lost for the wedding was put back on in a matter of days:) and boy was it worth it! The beach was literally in the back of the hotel and we spent so much time jumping around and laughing in the waves and watching the sun set over the ocean. We also went on a crazy zip line tour... talk about SWEET. Repelling and soaring through the trees and looking at Carson's butt in a harness... Doesn't get any better ;) One day we went into the city and just walked around, luckily Carson speaks Spanish so he was able to get us around everywhere. We ate some legit Mexican greasy food and it was delicious, stopped in a museum, and visited a cathedral. Puerto Vallarta was so beautiful and it made my love for traveling grow stronger. I always had this vision in my mind of what my honeymoon would be like... fun, relaxing, romantic... and honestly it was better than I dreamed.

Deep Beauty

Tuesdays are my sleep-in/workout/clean the house/ facebook stalk/YouTube days. Today I found this video and... YES I cried. I have listened to this talk before but kind of forgot about it and today was one of those days that I really needed to hear this! I am so grateful for the examples of true beauty that I have in my life. There are so many people that have helped me to realize what true deep beauty really is but I want to give a shout out to my best friend miss Amanda Sumner! I honestly have never met anyone with a more beautiful heart. She is so close to the savior and just like this video says, it shows in her eyes and that is what makes her have that deep beauty. I am so blessed to have her as a best friend!

Our wedding Photographer

I wanted to do a little post about our wedding photographer! We found her through my friend Emilee Hamp and THANK GOODNESS we did! She was seriously hands down the best! She was so professional, organized, easy going, and funny! She made me and Carson feel super comfortable and we could just be ourselves while she took our pictures. They turned out better than I could have dreamed and sometimes when I look at them I get teary eyed because she captured our love perfectly. I would recommended her to anyone who is looking to get wedding pictures, family pictures, or senior pictures.
For our engagements me and Carson took a trip down to St.George/Ceder City. I remember the car ride down with Cars and just having butterflies the whole time. We talked, laughed, and sang our lungs out. We met up with Abbey early one morning and she drove us down to the most perfect location for our engagements. I just remember laughing a lot and having so much fun. For one picture Abbey told Carson to smell my hair and that morning I had used my grandmas shampoo to wash it so Carson smelled my hair and said " Yum grandma shampoo..." okay maybe you had to be there but I thought it was so funny! Abbey totally captured me laughing so hard and it turned out to be one of my favorite pictures. We then tried to recreate this picture that I saw once where the couple was hanging upside down kissing. We found this fence and decided it would work. Well... it didn't. It was so hard to stay up on the fence and Carson pretty much did a flip off the bars and then I was yelling for him to help me down and he helped me by putting my feet over his shoulders and dropping me on my head. Check out the pictures HERE
Carson tagged along for my bridal session and I am so glad he did because Abbey captured some of my favorite pictures of us together. We started out a This is The Place and then drove down to the Temple to finish them off. I remember I was so cold by the end and luckily my mom had bought me a beautiful fur coat that looked amazing with my dress. To see our bridals go HERE
Seriously if your looking for a photographer contact Abbey! She is super busy so you have to snag her early. I can't wait to share the actual wedding day pictures with everyone so keep checking back!
